Our story
PrivMX was born in 2016 in SIMPLITO team as a set of low-level libraries for creating client-server applications with increased data security. After some experiments with our first PrivMX-based product (WebMail), we decided to develop the project further and create an in-house ecosystem of privacy-first tools.
Since then, the PrivMX concept has been incorporated in different IT solutions, including mobile app for secure photo sharing, a desktop solution for confidential contact management, and an all-in-one collaboration software for internal teamwork - PrivMX Fusion. This client-server, end-to-end encrypted internal communication system is our fully open-source legacy software, used globally by privacy-focused teams.

The Tools
PrivMX Platform
PrivMX Platform is the most mature and scalable implementation of the PrivMX concept so far.
By means of code, it allows other companies, organizations, communities and individual developers to build their own encrypted tools and implement encryption in their existing solutions. This way our original idea of total privacy in all communications gets to spread and grow organically, improving the digital landscape line by line, fork by fork…
